My last sneak peak.
Good morning.
Well today's the day that Sheena is back on Create and Craft. So set the record button for 11am!!.
This is the last sneak peak I am going to show you before the show. I put a tiny amount of the Pink Azalea Primary Elements into some white emulsion and painted the box. As you can see, a little of the primary elements goes a long way. Once this was completely dry, I mixed up some more of the Pink Azalea, with bind and resist powder and a small amount of water to get a paste and then using an Existencil, I sponged the paint over the stencil to get the pattern onto the box.
I used a stamp from the Only Words-Through The Rain stamp set, and then die cut it, distressed the edges of the sentiment, added a few gems, a ribbon around the edge of the box lid, and finally, I added an embellishment to cover the join in the ribbon.
I hope you enjoy the show.
Hugs Caroline xx

Good morning!!!
Good morning. As I promised yesterday, I am going to show you another sample I did for Sheena Douglass. Don't forget Sheena is on Craft Clinic tomorrow at 11am, on Create and Craft with the new Primary Elements from Luminarte.
Again, I have done a bright card. I used the Primary Elements to make the background of the stamped image. I mixed the three colours individually into a paint and then using a sponge, I dabbed them onto the back of centura pearl to create this background. Unfortunately the photo does not show how sparkly it is. I then die cut the painted background twice and using the Silhouette Garden stamps I stamped the images using Versamark, and then embossed with WOW black embossing powder. Then I used card, ribbon and gems from my stash to create this bright, but moody card.
Please stop by again and I hope you all have a great Sunday.
Take care. Xx

Mrs What's first DT post for Sheena Douglass
Good evening everyone.
Well I am chuffed to bits to blog about my first ever DT sample. I have been beavering away in my craft room playing with the new primary elements from Luminarte. I had the Tahiti Dreams set, which are a gorgeous pink, purple and blue. What messy fun I have had, and even experimented on things out of my comfort zone. They are a joy to play with and I am sure Sheena will fill everyone with ideas when she is on the Craft Clinic at Create and Craft on Monday.
The first sample I am sharing with you was actually the last one I did.
As you can see its a very vibrant card, which I am so pleased with.
The flowers and swirly leaves are from Sheena's last 4 day deal and are called Flower Power. These were stamped and embossed, and then painted with the primary elements. The sentiment is from the Silhouette Garden stamps set, and then the edges of the main image and the sentiment were distressed with Picked Raspberry.
I will be back tomorrow to post another sample.
Have a good evening.

Good news
I hope everyone has had a good weekend, and enjoyed the sunshine. I wonder how long it will last???
I have had some fab news............I am now the newest member of Sheena Douglass Design Team. To say I am over the moon is an understatement. I just hope I can do a good job for her.........fingers crossed.
The card I am sharing with you makes me smile, because of the spring colours I have used. Maybe the sunshine inspired me???. It's a Little Claire stamp that I coloured with Copics. I also used for this card LOTV stamp, Cheery Lynn corner die, Martha Stewart punch, Co-ordinations card stock, Epiphany, Card candy, Distress inks, paper and flowers from my stash.
I hope you will stop by again, and have a look at my blog.
Take care xx

I'm going to try again
Hello.
I am only a month late, but this is one of my New Years resolutions.......to blog!!!!. This morning I downloaded the blogger app (thanks Rachel Brown for mentioning it on Facebook), so there is no excuse.
I thought I would share a box I was asked to make for a new baby.
The box is paper mâché, and then painted in one coat emulsion, edges are of the box lid and base are distressed in spun sugar, and then I Matt and layer the lid and sides using card and paper form my crafty stash. On this box I have also used spun sugar to distress the paper. I have added ribbon around the edge of the lid, and to cover the join I put a heart charm on
The Popcorn image I have coloured using Copics and Spectrum Noirs and then cut it out with a spellbinder grand decorative oval, and layered this. I have cut the bunting freehand and added her name and date of birth. In the corners I have added cosmic shimmer pearl glue.
You cannot see it from my poor picture, but on one side of the box (using the clarity letterbox) it says "keepsake box" and on the opposite side it says "special memories". I have then added card candy to each corner of the side.
I hope you like it and I will be back soon.
